Far away in an enchanted kingdom, the princess begins lighting the candles in her bower as the days grow darker. Harvest-time is here, and feast time is near. Dressed in her purple gown she has adorned her hair with alyssum flowers.

The original painting is a mixed media creation with flowers and petals from the artist's gardern adhered with acrylic paints to the canvas for the borders and include oak, alyssum, marigold, and catmint.
